For those that follow my blog, you know I’m giving my kitchen an upgrade/makeover to be a farmhouse kitchen. Then I realized I have no good farmhouse seasonal decor. This was a problem I had to fix. I created this Spring Farmhouse Sign for my new kitchen. Can you believe this sign cost less then $3?

Below are some affiliate links and I may make a commission if you click on the links.

I created this sign from my Paint Stick Sign and painted it Sherwin Williams Dovetail (that’s the color of our lower kitchen cabinets). I love getting samples of paint colors and then I have them for projects.

In Cricut Design Space™, I used this SVG from Love SVG. I deleted all the flowers and greenery and just used the words. Also in Cricut Design Space I made an outline of a circle to fit on the paint stick sign to attach the flowers to.

The Cricut Maker is amazing and is a huge upgrade from my Cricut Explore. The circle and the saying our cut in white vinyl.

I made the circle to glue the flowers onto. I knew I wouldn’t be able to make a perfect circle so I used it as a guide.

The circle is a little crinkled on the sign because I didn’t want to lose the middle section of the circle because it would have been a huge waste of vinyl.

Using Transfer Tape I added the words to the center of the circle (after weeding the vinyl)

Let’s add these beautiful flowers. I bought two bunches, but you only need one hydrangea flower bunch from the Dollar Tree. Hot glue works great to attach the flowers, just remember to remove all the glue extra when finished.

I started with a small bunch, then added one to cover the stems and just kept repeating that all the way around the circle.

At the bottom of the circle, the flowers went out of control and it’s very full, but that’s okay. I love flowers!

My Spring Farmhouse Sign is a good start to my decoration transformation. I have to get brave and try painting some signs using vinyl as a stencil, but I haven’t done that yet. The sign looks fantastic in the kitchen and makes me smile every time I see it. Happy Spring!
